Description

This is a desiccant container for the EIBOS Polyphemus filament dryer. It can contain up to 35g of desiccant each.

To open up the closed container, squeeze the rear of the box lightly and lift up the lid.

When inserted into the desiccant tray of the EIBOS, lock the container with the clip, just like the original tray cover.

Best printed in ABS/ASA or PETG, or other heat resistant filaments.

Would PLA still work but not as long as the others would?

I don't know if the heat in that area is high enough for it to soften PLA when drying PLA or PETG. I would assume, if you start drying Nylon e.g. it will fail. PLAs stiffness is another factor. The latch on the backside of the lid has to deform a bit. I haven't tested PLA over a longer period, it might snap when removing the container. PLA can possibly work, however I would at least use PETG, just to be safe.

Replying to @raeuberhose :
thanks. i will try ASA I think, I got TPU as well but it is not too much better than PLA.

It was my first time with ASA and took a few tries with adhesion to my own fault but it worked at the end once I used some glue and the right plate, lol :) Thanks a bunch! fits and works perfectly.

works as advertised. Maybe just a touch too thin on the walls, but works fine overall.
