I didnt like the mounting system on the LD2, they would wreck the stickers on my batteries and you would need to adjust/reshim if I used a slightly different battery or a brass weight.

I designed this to work with a rubber oring that seems popular these days. It uses the original cradle, just unscrew the levers and replace, you will need 2x countersunk 3mm bolts, 12mm should be fine. You need to print 2x Mount 1 and one of each Mount 2's.

You can use a 44mm diameter oring either 2mm or 3mm. Just search eBay for them, they're pretty cheap. I found 3mm the best as the 2mm didnt feel strong enough.
