This will work on vintage Tamiya buggies like Grasshopper, Hornet, Grasshopper II, Wild One and many many others.

This is a small remix of the 12mm Hex converter by Engineer6. I found it binded around the axle when tightening up the rear wheel so added a small lip (same design as the original adaptor), which gets pushed against the bearing rather than the axle casing and leaves some tolerance.

Added another version which is 1mm longer as I found when this was fitted to my Wild One, it was too narrow and caused the wheel to bind on the rear shock.

Original works good on the Hornet, +1mm works good on the Wild One. Not personally tried it on other Tamiyas.

It now works perfectly and the wheels spin totally free even when tightened up quite a bit.
