Description

My kids play with toy cars of varying sizes and my mother-in-law back in the day had a big set that her kids used to love. These roads are very easy to print, I've made the connection points oversized for little people who may not have the best hand eye coordination.

I designed these pieces to not need supports.

Dude.... I could not give you a higher rating on this print. I somehow managed to keep it a secret for several days and got quite a few pieces done to surprise my kids with and they just love them so freakin much. They fought bedtime so hard because they wanted to keep playing. I upped the wall loops and infill density just to make sure they're really sturdy and they came out amazing. Plus, I had so much filament stored away that I wasn't ever going to use and I basically used it all up this week. Just absolutely brilliant man, well done.

I really appreciate your kind words and judging from the picture, the kiddos jumped right in. Don't forget to show them that the T and curves also work on the raised parts. My guys a little to little to really get more than a circle he can sit in but he loves them anyway. I actually need to start printing some for a friend of my wife soon. At some point soon, I am going to revamp the ramps slightly as I don't love the connect/steepness of them. But again, I'm very happy you and your kiddos can enjoy them together and apologies for any fights it starts. haha

To add an additional note, I revised the ramp, less sharp of an incline. It is uploading atm.

My son found it before I had more printed but he is loving it! He keeps asking if the printer is printing more track for his monster trucks (of course it is!) So glad I came across this model!

That filament is awesome! I'm glad you like them! There is a newer road that uses a bit less filament if interested. I actually am uploading a new piece today which I will be putting a bit more time into when time permits but my kids are enjoying it enough atm.

Hello All, I hope everyone has a good Christmas and spoiled you kiddos. currently I am testing a new multi block piece that hopefully will pass QC. it's original intent was an intersection for a bunch of connections. but the nice part is it's compatible with the rest of the system so I'm tossing around some modifications so it doesn't result in gaps.

Hello All! I want to say thank you for everyone whose enjoyed my project so far. With that said, here's a taste of what i'm currently working on. To start off, I don't like useless pieces, ideally I want all of my pieces to be usable without much fuss. BUT I also wanted to see if I can design a track that goes up. The intent for these pieces is to allow them to connect to each other. I've included where the idea came from, I currently am printing some of the latest revision and hopefully we'll have something fun coming down the pipeline sometime this week. I'll likely tag these with V3 or some designation. As always, I want them to be compatible with previous models and generations. So older pieces can sit in them, i'll also be making some modified pieces, such as the ramp in the photo that natively work with them. If all works out during testing.

I printed these for my nephews for Christmas. I think they are gonna love them. Some feedback to consider is how the ramp and elevator parts are oriented on your plate. Enable supports for sure in those parts otherwise you will get stringy undersides. I was able to fix my first attempt in post processing. I would also suggest rotating the ramp part to have the bottom of the ramp oriented on the top. While it works in the original orientation, if you enable supports, making this change uses less filament and saves a big chunk of printing time.

I'm glad you love them! Can you post a picture of what you mean with the orientations? I'm interested to see what that means, also I did upload a newer ramp that has a bit less steepness. I actually have two more pieces in the works and a remix that I'll upload shortly.

I decided to print my little person a fun travel kit of tracks. They so far are a hit! I can print almost 8 pieces per plate. Scale them %50 and they are great! This size will fit the typical hot wheels.

Thank you so much for making this. I am only a few pieces in and my 2yo is packing them around the house to play with.
