Description

ORIAS is the first of my series of mecha model kits. Equipped with 2 long range artillery systems as the arms, ORIAS is a mecha combat suit with 8 articulation points that are fully posable. AMS is not required; each part is printed independently without supports.

No need for PETG, all the prototyping and model images were printed with PLA.

The provided profiles are:

  • A1 mini

how’d you get it to be multiple colors?

Replying to @MyDogAteMyHW :
The author's file has already divided the model, just print different parts in different colors, and finally complete the assembly

Very cool little mecha, I really like how the joints for the feet were made, printed first try without any issue. My only complaint is that the arms with the weapons are not on a ball joint. For me it's a solid 9/10

Thank you SOOO much for this design. This has been one of my favorite prints. I don't usually upload models, but felt this mechwarrior needed to be seen :) Thanks again!

Hi, i just started printing the parts for this and came across a problem. As you can see from the picture, in the slicer one of the canons seems to split? Not sure if I have a problem with the slicer or if it's because i scaled it up. The other canon doesn't seem to have this problem.

Hmm that’s very odd, what slicer is this? I can try to take a look at it. The other cannon will work to replace that one, but in Bambu Studio I can’t replicate it

Thomas was in Bambu Slicer. Maybe its because I scaled it up?

Very cool model, mixed it up with another I found on Maker World for a fun scene. Makes a great bad guy.

cool model, but the shoulder are far too tight, and the guns don't have a feature to snap on and the feet will pop off by a light touch. a little remixing will be perfect. but clearly this was a lot of work to make. some glue would be idea, but not help with the main issues unless you don't want moving feet or guns which would probably be on for small kids

Not a bad little model. Literally no tolerance in the joints, you'll have to muscle it together or sand it. I broke off the gun from one of the arms, but superglue worked nicely. Reminiscent of the "Zero Waste" robots

Great eye! I used lots of different models and hinge types as inspiration but the half sphere joints was inspired by the 0-Waste designs for sure!
