Mechanical Wound Tracker with Pin V2

This is my improved mechanical wound tracker for War hammer 40k and other tabletop games, capable of tracking up to 49 wounds.

Based on the original Mechanical Wound Tracker with Pin, this is a complete redesign with several key improvements:

• Longer pin design – The pin is longer for easier installation and extends slightly further at the back so it can be heated and pressed flat for a secure, flush finish.
• Redesigned number dials – Digits have been reworked to be clearer and easier to read during play.
• Refined gears – Adjusted for smoother, more consistent rotation.
• Improved spacing – Slightly increased clearance in the dials so they spin more freely.

Assembly: Grease on the small gear is optional but helps it run even smoother. Take care when fitting the gear. For correct spacing, assemble with a number already showing in the window (e.g. “15”).

Once assembled, insert the pin, heat the back with a flame, and press it against a cool flat surface to lock it in place. Alternatively, you can still use an M3 x 8 screw if preferred.
