Running into the same weird issue where it's putting a white plate on the back. Was able to remove the white plate on the base for a solid black base, but no matter what I try, the rear plate remains. When I scale it up to search for the problem and paint it black, it no longer wants to paint the white plate, but once scaled down to 100% again, the plate returns. Not sure what the cause is, but also not skilled enough yet to find it.
Ok, so I don't really know what I did to fix it, but I just removed all painting, then used the fill tool for the red/white, and it removed the white from the lower cap. Couldn't tell you why, because it didn't show at all when I removed the black/red from the preview.
What's up friend? I am making a run of 10 keycaps but I am not able to remove this layer of white that remains, if you have a solution please tell me!! hehehe, I'll show you the result in a few hours <3 <3
I am also experiencing this issue. I've found that the issue does not occur in Orca. If you're still interested in printing the user's model then I would suggest using that slicer instead.
e: Shortly after making this comment I updated Orca from v2.0.0 to v2.1.1, and am now experiencing a crash when attempting to slice the model. I think a bug has been introduced to Bambu Studio, and subsequently Orca, that is causing this issue. Even breaking it down to a single object causes the slicer to crash. I don't see how or why this model would cause the slicer to crash without something occurring on the back-end. I need to dive into logs to try and get a better understanding of it.
