Description

Ziggy is an American comic strip series created by Tom Wilson.

Ziggy is a diminutive, bald, trouser-less, barefoot, almost featureless character (save for his large nose). He is often drawn in just his shirt with no pants on, though the lower half of his torso is never seen. He lives in a simple house with a garden, and he is often seen working at an office job, at which his foibles often reflect the absurdities that many readers encounter on a daily basis.

Fuzz, the dog, is one of Ziggy's many pets.

No supports are required. If you have the proper filament colors, no painting is needed.

The assembled model is 140mm tall. Keep in mind that Ziggy is on the'heavy' side, so even though he is comparatively short he is quite round.

Enjoy, and always look at the bright side of life!

Note: one part has a small built-in support.

Printing and assembly tips

Printing tips
1-No supports are required. However, z_hand_left contains some built-in supports to help with bed adhesion.

2-Use your judgement for brims/rafts. Personally, I did not use any brims or rafts on any of my pieces.

3-As noted in the intro, Ziggy is quite round and some of the pieces have longer print times than you might first realize. Not an issue, just a heads up.

Assembly tips:

1-I used both E6000 sticky craft glue and thick superglue to put this model together. Each glue has it's advantages.

2-As a modeler, I separate most of my parts. Ziggy's left/right eyes are interchangeable, as is Fuzz's eyes.

3-I had a hard time getting the thumb of z_hand_left to stick due to it's shape. The surrounding supports are there to help with bed adhesion and not for support structures as it may seem. They come off very cleanly with some force.

5-Refer to the assembly diagram as well as the uploaded pictures for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.

Do not hesitate to ask questions, feedback is essential to making better models.
