Description

MMU version of the Cheshire Cat from Alice and Wonderland

In order to make this model mostly support free, this is a two piece model (head, body) that require gluing together. It should be noted that the head by itself sits well and does not require the body.

This MMU model was derived from my non-MMU model:

Enjoy, and don't forget to post your makes!

Print instructions

There are two 3MF files attached. One for just the head and one for the body. The head is just over a four hour print and can be used by itself.

I've also included all the STL files in case you decide to print both the head and body at the same time.

All the supplied files are for the smallest recommended size of the model. The model can be sized up without issue, but I would not recommend sizing it down any further.

I must be going crazy or how am I suppose to print this??? I was expecting the parts to be individual so you can print them all facing the bed.

Please read through the comments and the full description. I'll repeat here: I have three types of models: 1-Original models split by colors to be printed in individual parts and glued together 2-MultiMaterial print models, noted with MMU in the name. These are made to be printed with multimaterial printers. The parts are aligned specifically to be printed with an AMS unit, or Prusa MMU or Palette. 3-Onepiece models. Single part model noted by '-onepiece' in the title. For SLA printers or FDM if you want to paint. Hope that makes sense and helps. This is a multimaterial model that actually prints in just two parts for easy of printing without supports. Teamwork, Steve

I have printed this and attempting to assemble, it appears there is an error with head_5_purple as there is no recess for head_3_pink to go into unless I am missing something. Thanks for such great models!

There is a recess, I double check the files just now. Did you use supports? No need for supports, but if you did, they would be in that recess. Teamwork, Steve
