Description

I was asked to remix my lantern to fit the lithophane panels outlined in the bambu lab CMYK creation wiki. Panel sizes should be 108mm x 144mm x 2.75mm

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/knowledge-sharing/CMYK-color-lithophane-printing-instructions

The model has bases for both the Bambu lab 001 LED and an E12 candelabra socket. You can pick whichever one works best for you.

I'm happy it worked well for you. My CMYK kit just arrived so now it's time to find some photos to print.

Finally got around to printing this and acquiring the hardware needed to light it up. The model itself is great! Thank you so much for modifying it to fit the CMYK lithophanes :) I think I need to get a brighter e12 bulb though as it is harder to make out some of the details. Also thought about lining the inside of the lantern with foil tape like when I make lightboxes. Haven't gotten around to that yet but wanted to post comment/rating for making it so quick thanks again!

Yeah for a color pane I bet you'd need at least a 30 watt equivalent. the nice thing is that any candelabra bulb should be fine. (I'd probably avoid the giant E12s that are like 200 watt equivalent though.) That's why I use that socket, you can even get smart bulbs in that form factor.

I've been wanting to make this lantern for a few weeks now, but I never had the time. I slightly modified the file to use an E27 lamp holder with a 50W LED bulb, so it could be a bit less expensive (I spent 3€ on the bulb and lamp holder combined, not sure how much that is in dollars or other value). The build quality of the file is amazing! Great job, beautiful design!

Coming back to give this a boost since you were so nice to remix your original to fit the bambu CMYK lithophane dimensions. I have made 5 or 6 for birthdays since you released it back in February and everyone has loved them!

I have added another print profile with the bunny lithophanes. The other two are my dogs and I don't want to share them :)
