Description

A simple waterfountain that I designed to also display a lithophane. I tested it for over a month and it was water tight although I do recommend spraying the base with flex seal for added security to ensure it doesn't leak.

The plug on plate 2 is to be printed out of TPU. It is used to cover the hole at the back of the base for the USB cable.

Required:

  • LED strip lights 3m dimmable multi color changing with remote 5v USB
  • 50GPH 3w mini submersible water pump USB
  • USB Splitter 1 in 2 out

Lithophane Settings:

  • 122.40mm Height x 100mm Width
  • Min Thickness: 0.8mm
  • Max Thickness: 3mm

For the LED lights, 3 meters seems like a lot. How did install the lights to accommodate the smaller space? I didn't see instructions on how everything should be assembled. And the pump goes in the bottom, I'd imagine?

You can use as long of a strip of LEDs as you want, I used 3m. I glued them to the middle wall by winding them around the outside perimeter and went in circles until I got to the middle. Pump goes in the bottom and you use the tube that came with the pump to attach it to the bottom of the lid.
