VGCaseKit is a fully parametric OpenSCAD generator for creating custom inserts that hold your favorite video game cartridges inside miniature cassette cases. Whether you’re preserving classics or organizing your collection, VGCaseKit makes it easy to create inserts tailored to your needs.

Key Parametric Controls:

  • Insert Dimensions: Set length (X), width (Y), and height (Z) of the insert to match different cassette cases.
  • Cartridge Cutouts: Choose cartridge type, adjust X/Y positioning, rotation, and apply optional roundovers.
  • Finger Cutouts: Enable/disable, select style (circle or square), and customize radius/size for easier cartridge removal.
  • Tolerances: Fine-tune X/Y/Z clearances for your printer and material to ensure snug but workable fits.
  • Text Customization: Add raised or inset text, select from Google Fonts, adjust font size, height, position, and color.
