Description
Self-built 4th axis CNC model
This project is a self-built 4th axis CNC, approximately 90% 3D Printed, designed for those who want an economical and adaptable solution that significantly expands their machine's capabilities. Thanks to the use of 3D printing, it is possible to create a customized rotary axis, keeping costs low and adapting it perfectly to your needs.
If there is interest, I will also add:
• Formulas to calculate your axis rotation parameters, to best set the firmware and step values.
• A complete list of screws, bearings, and components needed for assembly.
• A short assembly video, to guide you through each construction phase.
In this way, you will have not only a functional 4th axis but also all the tools to optimize and customize it to the fullest.
