Description

This beautifully crocheted bear happily holds a heart with a picture of your loved one in it. No wiring. Uses the following cord/socket set

and the following bulb

though the cord does come with a bulb it is just more yellow and not as bright.

Please make sure the metal spring on the socket is turned in such a way that it GRABS the base and doesn't allow it to slide around or your light may wobble around and sit crooked, see pictures for correct and incorrect way. Grab the metal springs, squeeze, insert, just until flush with bottom. There are dips to allow you to grab ahold of them again if you need to remove it. Tuck the cord in the holder, plug in, and turn on.

Lithophane settings show in picture:

74mm for height and width, 4.6 mm for depth, 4.5 for base height, overhang of 45, max thickness for lithophane portion is 3

There will be some stringing just behind where the lithophane sits. However, they can easily be trimmed away and are hidden by the lithophane and do not compromise the end product, none of it can be seen. Version 1 shows a bit more of the lithophane and Version 2 allows the bear's head to also light up.

While I had my lamp on for quite a while and never felt it heat up dangerously, you should always turn your lamps off when you leave, just to be safe. I've used these cord sets and LED bulbs for a lot of lithophanes and never had a problem.

Enjoy!!!!
