Description
Overview:
I was recently making some picture frames, and my miter gauge would shift ever so slightly which messed with my mitered corners. I decided to build a rigid, accurate sled. It works great!
This sled has holes that can be used to screw boards to make it longer, or to use as a sacrificial fence to ensure a clean cut.
I’ve included my Fusion 360 design, so you customize it how you wish using the included parameters. You can adjust the size of the miter gauge, the fit of the runner, etc. It can also be customized for specific angles if needed.
Printing:
This does not require supports if you print it in the orientation shown. I printed mine in PLA but most filaments will work fine.
