Description

Another “Art Deco” Hueforge , this one is Darth Vader from Star Wars

The dimensions are 180x180 mm so it fits nicely in a square frame .

I also made a frame you can print to use for this and my other Hueforge models :

https://makerworld.com/en/models/194571

The colours I used Black (Elegoo)→ Blue (Elegoo)→ Pink (eSun)→ White (Elegoo)

The plate is now 180x180 but you could resize to bigger or smaller, just make sure you do not change the height (Z) so uncheck “uniform scale” when resizing.

If you want to slice the file manually for use without AMS or other printer please use these settings :

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.2mm

Swap Instructions:
Start with Elegoo Black
At layer #11 (0.6mm) swap to Elegoo Blue
At layer #24 (1.12mm) swap to Pink
At layer #31 (1.4mm) swap to Elegoo White for the rest.

Reminder : I share these works for free for hobbyists, you can even print them as gifts for friend and family.

If you like my work: a Boost on Makerworld is always appreciated!

I did four of the prints all with the same colours - Bambu PLA Matte Black, Red, White and Grey. They turned out beautifully. Only complaint is how thin the bottom layers are for Vader and Maul, but you fixed that with Grievous and the Stormtrooper. These are awesome!

Darth came out great. Any chance we can get a version that has the thicker base layer like many of your other fantastic works?

A bit thin but did not break when I peeled off the plate. Prints really well! I increased the size to 9"x9". Beautiful!

Hi, I haven’t made a frame yet but I will look into that, I havent yet because the form factor is 18 by 18 cm and frames for that format os very common over here, a frame costs only about 1 euro. But I will look into it!

Here you have one that is customizable, you need to use F360 to change the dimensions to 180x180. Download the raw files, there you have the .f3d file (the one you need to modify and export) and the .step one
