Description

Miniaturized Kyber Crystal Storage Unit modeled after the one used in Savi's Workshop, this unit will securely hold 6 Kyber crystals.

Overview

Hold and store your kyber crystals with this convenient storage unit. The container features a simple snap-together assembly, making it easy to use and quick to print.

Printing Details

Recommended filaments:

eSun PLA+ Black
eSun PLA+ Orange
eSun PLA+ Silver

Hotend: 0.4mm Hardened Steel

Print time: 5hrs

Printing Tips:
- All parts except the top ring & center frame can be printed successfully using the provided print profile and no supports.

Assembly

Follow the steps below to assemble, I would suggest using a small amount of glue for permanent fixture but the model holds together without.

Insert 12 M9 closed rubber grommets, to the holes in the outer fames.

Press the center frame into the outer walls.

Press the center assembly in to the base.

Take the top ring and the silver overlay

Press the overlay ring over the top ring, this is a tight fit so go slowly, once at the bottom twist until it seats into the recess.

Press the top ring on top of the center assembly.

Push the handle uprights through the orange cap and into the top ring. This will secure the orange cap in place.

Finally push the handle crossmember on top of the handle uprights.

Kyber Container - Outer Frame

Print turned out great, but my Disney Kyber Crystals don’t stay in. There is a few mm gap between the rubber M9 insert and the crystals so I designed a piece to glue to the rubber inser. Worked well.

Kyber Container - Base

Loved it, came out great. Thanks for the file. The silver filament I have is crappy so I went with gold. I wanted to show all 6 kybers on one side. So I tinkered with the bottom plate in Tinkercad to make a middle plate and doubled it up. Just what I wanted!
