Description

Have you ever seen an accessory or gun model and wanted to use it with the DUMMY 13 without having to remix it first?

I personally didn't like the look of those ugly pins that every gun needs to make it usable with the original hand, so I designed this universal hand to rule them all ;)

As a designer, you now have much more flexibility to design realistic looking accessories.

You can use almost anything with your DUMMY 13 as long as the grip is 3mm wide.

How?

• Download any model, e.g. a pistol
• Use Prusa Slicer's "measuring tool" and change the dimensions of the handle. Prusa Slicer will do the rest

Printing:

• PETG is recommended
• Layer height 0.15mm/0.10mm
• You will need supports
• Brim should not be necessary

The lower way is more foolproof (the way the STL files are aligned). The upper way would be the best for maximum strength, needs to be sunk a little at the moment and may need brim. However, it depends on your printer which variant looks nicer. Probably the upper one.

A warning/hint for assembly:

When placing the hand, try to apply force only to the palm of the hand. Otherwise the hand may break, especially if it was printed out of PLA.
