Description

I've always been fascinated by programming and maze algorithms, so I decided to combine my passion for both by creating a custom maze generator that produces these unique coaster designs. Each coaster features a different algorithmically-generated maze pattern, making every piece in your set completely unique.

These coasters aren't just functional drinkware accessories - they're conversation starters that showcase the beauty of computational design. The raised maze walls provide excellent support for all your glasses, while the intricate pathways create an engaging visual element for your coffee table.

The generator I built creates mazes with varying complexity levels and ensures each design is both aesthetically pleasing and properly solvable. The colored path (green and red) highlight the solution through each maze, adding an extra layer of visual interest.

This model contains a 3x3 coaster set and 4 individual coasters. The 3x3 set forms one big maze when combined.

 

I printed in ASA for extra temperature resistance. (For green I got ABS since I don't like the ASA green)
