This model is to hold a Milwaukee M12 tool with a slim battery (M12 1.5, 2.0 etc/ not 4.0 with square bottom) standing upright. The holder is standing on an X stand. There are cutouts in the bottom for 15x2 mm magnets to be super glued to the bottom. I use this in a metal desk drawer and the drawer doesnt get slammed but the holder does move a little with the weight. If used on a non metalic surface, this model will stand up on its own just fine!
