Description

A cute balloon dog :)

The profile is set to print at different speed especially for the tail and the nose area.

UPDATE

Added a profile for better overhang supports, especially for underbelly and face. Obviously the supports will be a bit harder to remove but hey you can't always get what you want :)

I've canceled the two other profiles (tree support and fuzzy skin) until I got the same overhang results, so stay tuned!

TIP

In case you print with dark filaments, especially with matte finish, it's possible you'll have some white spots like these, after removing the supports:

If so just use a butane torch and pass the flame rapidly on these zones and you'll have the natural color again:

Downscaled, polish, UV Resin and after yellow paint! This is the result! Anyway really nice model (I cut the nose because I didn't like it).

The print profile is no longer public

My family absolutely loves this print. It looks awesome and printed very easily. As others have noted, there were some issues with the surface finish, especially where the supports touched the print you can see in my photos. However, despite this, when it’s displayed on a shelf, you can’t even notice it and I still highly recommend the print. I did notice that there is another profile that was posted that supposed to help with this issue. I have to give that a try.

hi! to have a smoother finish on the top you can try the variable layer height function in the prepare step of Bambu Studio.

I’m working on another profile that improve the underbelly. The top is due to the curve and the layer height, I don’t think there’s much to do but I’ll try

Brilliant thanks. I managed to get the top surface way better by using variable layer heights. After doing some research I read that sagging on an overhang (even with supports) can be improved by increasing fan speeds (for extra cooling) during overhangs, increasing number of walls, printing inside walls before outer walls and even lower nozzle temp slightly for overhangs. Hope this helps and look forward to seeing your improvements.

Simple, fast, and very cool print. The supports are a bit difficult to remove, perhaps organic ones would have been better. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing it with the community

Very good yes it comes with supports but they were removed well and left no mark I would disable the ones on the snout they are unnecessary and difficult to remove but the others are absolutely necessary
