I have to say, it IS a beautiful and simplistic design. I also have to say that is does not make a lot of sense. Neither as a pill box nor as a 3d print. It has three sections for pills or six with the divider. I totally fail to see how this is meant to accommodate one or two daily doses of pills for a whole week, which is the basic function of a pill box. It IS a nice comparted box, and of course you can store some pills in it as well. The design is great from an optical view but terrible in terms of 3d printability. The external box is hassle free an prints best standing. But the internal one has no print orientation that would not overcomplicate the print due to wide curves or super slight angled walls that do not translate in layers very well. Printing it standing needs a LOT of support for the then horizontal compartment walls. Printing it flat messes up the bottom of the outer curve in one way or another. Printing it flat upside down combines both flaws even. Printing both parts in different orientation makes it unnecessary hard to balance the tolerances for a nice snug fit. The divider is flimsy at best. All this does not mean it is a useless or ugly design. It is not. But with just a few tweaks it could be a support and hassle free print more accessible to the huge group of people that just want to download and print without thinking too much about it. printed on a Prusa MK3S+ and Bambulabs X1C in Das Filament toms hardware blue and simple white PLA. 0.15 and 0.12 mm layer on 0.4mm nozzles.

Thank you for your feedback and your observations. I agree that this is not a pill box for a complete week. The idea here was to build a beautiful, compact and simple box to put in your bag, for example pills for a headache. But I understand your observations and I will improve on my ideas. About the orientation to print without support, what is your recomendation on what i should change? Thank you again.

It's great for the weekend... It's great for me... At home, I have my pills ready to use in the tablet (no need to take them from their box to put them in another box... 😉 But when I want to go out for the weekend... It's nice to have a beautiful small box instead of a pack of tablets... 🙂

Apparently some people aren't aware that 'as needed' medications exist and think every pill must be taken daily haha. I love the design and it's exactly what I need as a travel pill pox for painkillers, allergy meds, etc. However, even with the improved model I couldn't get the box to click closed - the inside just falls out. I didn't want to waste the print so I put a couple of adhesive magnets on the inside which so far is working great.

Thank you for a beautiful design. It printed very well on my A1 without supports. I hope people will know that with some pills/capsules, it is not advised to remove them from their original packaging. They could deteriorate in the air/humidity, and also if you have several types, you need to know, and other people may do too, what they are. I use your design for keeping headache tablets in, so thank you very much.

Support Issue:thanks to the designer for the profile. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be designed properly, not sure why supports for the internal box were designed in that way. Morovee, the internal box doesn’t lock as advertised. Only after printing it and going through the comments I’ve realized that the designer released an updated design, while the print profile is not up-to-date yet.
