Description

This is a printed platform alignment tool for a few Dillon Precision reloading machine models, i.e. 550, 650 and 750. The tool is needed if you remove the platform when cleaning and lubricating or in case of parts replacement.

Dillon has a great instruction video on YouTube on how to use their part, this is used in the same way using a powder measure die in station 1. There are those who advocating a technique using the powder measure die in station 2 but i personally prefer the Dillon way.

There is two (2) plates included in the print profile, the first is the tool itself, the second is a cut out of the top part of the tool. Given that different filaments, in different printers, might print the tool in slightly different sizes there might be an idea to print the top part first to see if it fits as supposed. If not, resize up or down accordingly till you got a near-snug fit in the primer drop hole before printing the whole tool.

I printed this in PETG-CF as that was what i already had loaded in the printer, i don't know if PLA will work but i guess it will as there should not be any stresses on the part. The print profile is set to print slow and dense - 10 wall loops and a sparse infill of 95 % for rigidity with a max speed of 50 mm/s (as the filament I'm currently using does not like high speeds).
