Description

Version 2:

  • Raised from frame mounting position for slightly better viewing with high print bed
  • slightly tighter fit on frame
  • Resized to fit the side of the heatsink! Store it with your other heatsinks and less likely to forget to swap on nozzle change
  • Included 3 nozzle holder for other 3 sizes

I kept forgetting that I changed my nozzle to 0.8 or 0.6 and would send print from my SD card. The print would proceed even though I've told the printer the new nozzle size installed. That check only seems to work when printing direct from Maker World. "You have installed the 0.6 nozzle but this profile requires 0.4" something like that. So, I created these Nozzle Signs The clip into the printer on the inside frame really easily. Great clearances all around. Easily seen by the on board camera. Especially if placed forward enough.

15 - 20 minutes depending on if you do start up print stuff and only 4g of filament for all 4.

Thanks very much, not only for my ability now to "look" at the number to see the nozzle size, but It gave reason for me to learn a few things in Bambu Studio... We thought if we can see the size number, we could also see the nozzle type -- HS or SS. Hence a 'newbie' editing within slicer. It's all you! I'll share the file - this is all new to me, I don't know the process, but want to give you credit where credit is due -- thanks for helping me to see!!

I just put a new hot end on my X1C that allows me to swap nozzles and this is brilliant. thanks. I will be printing some of these today.

yeah, I've had my X1 since Kickstarter and mostly use the 0.4. occasionally I swap in 0.6 for filaments with additives or the 0.8 for vase mode. then I'll print for a few days and forget to change back before throwing a 0.4 print at it. hope this helps others!
