Jose el Cactus!

Gorgeous low poly model with cap, sombrero and glasses.

Assembly of static parts:

glue one Joint between Base_top and Base_bot
glue one Joint between Cactus_no_eyes/Cactus_w_eyes and Mustache

Assembly of dynamic ports:

glue one Joint to Cap/Sombrero

Assembly of glasses:

temporary: use BOTH sided tape and Cactus_no_eyes so you can take the Glasses down when you don't want them anymore
permanent: use 2x Joint, Glasses and Cactus_w_eyes and glue it together

Tip: If you don't want the Cap/Sombrero and the Cactus_no_eyes/Cactus_w_eyes moving, just glue it together … heh

he was requested by my daughter for her teacher who loves cactus and is new to Arizona. In my house this not so little guy was dubbed, cactus Jo! Absolutely awesome print but was much bigger than I had expected. Cactus Joe is every bit of 10 inches tall with his hat on. absolutely five star product except for having to glue the little square pieces together he would be much better set up like a Mr. potato with a peg and hole so no glue is needed. overall this is absolutely an awesome print!

Thanks for your print and nice words. I’m glad you like it. The reason for the use of glue is to make the print easier. If I had decided to use the pegs or other ways to connect the parts I’d need to use supports or slow down the print in some places for strength. Me experience with other techniques is not good as in most situations the clips/pegs/… just broke as they were not strong or flexible as you’d need them.
