This need support. I found it better to print it upside down to minimize the support needed. You will want to specify where the support is added on where not. It is practically impossible to remove the support on the inside. You will want to section the model and tell the slicer to NOT support the inside.

The mount on the side sticks out a little to make it friendly with the spool on the side.
