Description

Boost Me (for free)

Simple box for an ESP32 board in my case, the finished file has a cutout that should fit larger boards as well, the smaller ones might require some glue to hold in place.

In the back is a hole to fit a through-hole DC barrel jack for the 5V power, however this is not designed to power the LEDs as well, use a seperate PSU for that.

Hole in the lid fits a small push button which I wired to the BOOT button on the ESP, although you could attach it to a GPIO pin or maybe an LED.

I put two rectangular holes in the back for running two seperate LED outputs and a round one for adding a microphone.

There is enough space to do all wiring or add a small capacitor, microphone, etc.

To fix the enclosure to something, ideally use zip-ties, double sided tape or velcro.

There are also two small holes on the underside for pushing out the board if stuck.
