Description

Minimalistic drone case for DJI mini 2. This case allows the drone to be safely stored away in any backpack with only taking up the absolute minimum necessary space.

The drone slips in from the top and the fan blades automatically adjust to fit into the dedicates slots. The lid is securely held in place by a printed band.

A cut-out for the charging port and the MicroSD card in the lid would be quite useful. That way you don't have to open the lid to charge or insert/remove the SD card. Otherwise a great case!

I added an alternative print profile that has a slot in the cover plate and cooling slots in the main body to prevent overheating of the drone/battery when the drone gets charged.

It‘s a really great model and I shouldn’t give it 4 stars although there is maybe room for improvement. Print orientation could be the other way round with less support, but then outside would look not that good. And instead of a separate lid, maybe a hinge would make it a 6 stars model. However, thank you very much. I use it in my DJI bag without the lid. It’s the best and easiest model for putting the Mini 2 into.

hi, thank you for the feedback and the positive review. I really appreciate it! I already tired to swap the direction and reduce the support amount but wasn‘t so happy with the results. I have thaught of doing a hinged lid, but then decided against it. i wanted to keep the model as simple as possible.
