I printed it too, with green BBL glow filament. I did get some of that "ugliness" on the back, and the settings were those meant for that filament. I think there isn't much we can do, except maybe printing some parts of the model slowly, with the best supports settings we can get... still, gravity is a bitch and there's bound to be some of what we see here. Other than that, removing the supports did work.
Once I have reprinted the pedestal (something went wrong and the bottom book didn't get print, don't know why), I'll put up a photo and my rating :)
Edit: I found some little problems. Tentacle D isn't fully fused to the pedestal and Tentacle Scylla is missing a bit on its curved section, at the top. Also, what is the angled cut at the bottom of same Tentacle Scylla for? It doesn't seem to match an angle on Howard himself?
