Description
Here I have designed a 1x5 Gridfinity box that can accommodate a 38 mm wide spatula or scraper at its tip. This is a simple scraper that originally came with my first 3D printer.
To save filament, I have integrated two cutouts into the design. These not only reduce material consumption but also provide additional storage space for smaller tools or accessories. The box fits on a standard Gridfinity grid with a base area of 42.
The Gridfinity box has a height of approx. 28 mm, with the scraper inserted, the total height is approx. 40 mm.
For a smooth and elegant surface finish, I have enabled ironing in the slicer settings.
To make it easier to remove the scraper, a finger recess is integrated into the design. Additionally, a label is engraved: "Scraper 38 mm". Those who cannot print in multiple colors can omit this engraving by removing it in the slicer or embedding it as an embossing in the box.
No support structure is needed for this print.
