Description

Soap cutter was originally designed to cut Dr Squatch soap or any soap 3.75 x 3 x 1 inches (9.5 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm).

I made it for my brother who resorted to using a knife to cut the soap into 4 even chunks to extend its life. You'll likely get 2x the life if you split soap into 4 pieces as it means they don't all get wet and sit melting on the side of the shower.

Upon putting the soap into the cutter there is some force required to press the two halves together, however the end result is 4 even sized chunks as seen in the images.

There is a small scraper in the print as well that was intended to clean out the grooves but proves to be better used when the soap gets stuck on the top of the vice allowing you to press through it through the gaps to release the soap.

Ideally printed in Classic rather than Archane as the blades get a little bit thin in the latter and may break at the tips, also noticed much nicer cuts in Classic as seen in the images.

As this is my first model uploaded to Makerworld, I've very open to feedback!
