Description
This handy side table is the perfect camping companion, creating a convenient place to set down your plate, coffee, or phone. It's lightweight and can be disassembled making it easy to pack. The table is quite sturdy (but not appropriate to sit on).
Hardware required
- 25mm wood dowels for the legs, cut to your desired length. I used 43cm per leg.
- 3x 40mm, M6 bolts
- 6x M6 washers to prevent the bolt and threaded knob from damaging the base when tightened
- 3x M6 threaded knobs
Print settings
- See print orientation in images
- Infill: 15% cubic
- PLA, but PETG would work too
- The feet and legs should be printed with a brim
- You can add support for the feet and legs, but since the insides aren't visible in the end product, you can also just let the printer bridge.
Base is inspired by John Jones's simple tripod. I redrew the base from scratch, using my own dimensions.
