Parametric chess board. Tiles are connected with dovetails. Including STEP and Fusion file. You can change Width and Thickness. Use Hook to make you dovetail sticking out more or less. Use Gap to set the tolerance to your printer. I use 0.05 on my P1S.
The model needs support either in the cut outs for the dove tails or under the dovetails if you decide to flip the tiles upside down.
I decided on support (with support filament on my AMS). This results in visible dovetails with the bedtexture on top, or, if you flip the entire chessboard upside down with square tiles with toplayer texture. In the latter case you can play arround woth the orientation of the tiles on the print bed to create interesting patterns with the toplayer settings. For instance: black tiles (as situated on the board) print lines rightbottom corner to left top corner and the white tiles the opposite. It's up to you.
