Drybox Roller Modular Spool Holder - V2

This project is a refined evolution of MagicPrint3D's original model. After a lot of testing, I identified a few friction points and weaknesses. Version 2 addresses these with a focus on ergonomics and long-term reliability.

REENGINEERED SPOOL SCREWS

• Ergonomics: Corners are now rounded for a more comfortable grip during assembly.
• Structural Integrity: I increased the material density in weak corners. This makes the screws more resilient under tension and less prone to snapping.

STABILIZED SHAFT SYSTEM

• Anti-Slip Stoppers: The previous iteration frequently slipped during handling. I integrated physical stoppers to lock the assembly in place.
• Secure End Cap: One end now features a dedicated cap designed with tight tolerances. It is intended to fit snugly to ensure the spool remains centered and secure regardless of movement.

I have been running these updated units in my personal dryboxes for several months. They have performed very well through multiple spool swaps without showing signs of wear or failure.
