Description

Hi there,

I made this board with a lot of love!

It's made in 4 big pieces so it fits in a 220cmx 220cm printer and obviously x1, x1c, P1P and P1Ps.

You will need 2 of each part.

Each square is 5cmx5cm, so it is ideal for big pieces.

I uploaded this model for Multi-Color printing.

I wish my uncle were still alive today. He taught me to play when I was six and I still play. He would have loved to see that you can make your own chess sets like this now. He left me his Star Trek three tier set. I will probably find the file and print it so I don't have to use it and keep it nice. I am also going to be printing some sets to donate to a library a friend of mine works at that was on the chess team with me.

I had to make 2 of both 1&2 plates. don’t just repeat one or your board won’t work.

I struggled with how tight the dove tails were to separate the two halves.

board tuned out great, however there is no way to keep it together. maybe a good idea to add small magnets pockets in the outside edge to keep it together.
