Boost Me (for free)

I´ve invested a lot of time and love into developing my model. I would greatly appreciate a boost 🚀 for future creations or as a token of your gratitude.

T-Rex Skeleton for wooden train

For wooden train fans of all ages, there is now a unique T-Rex skeleton with a movable head and tail that opens up a whole new dimension of playtime fun. It's compatible with all standard tracks (Brio, Hape, Eichhorn, Ikea, Lidl and others).

No AMS or support is required for printing. There are two print profiles. The first profile contains all parts for the standard version and can also be divided as desired. The second profile is suitable for use by toddlers and beginners in 3D printing. Bambu Lab PLA Matte Bone White filament was used with a 0.4 nozzle that gives the dinosaur skeleton a realistic bone look.

Tips for optimal printing results:

  • calibrate your printer and filament correctly
  • your filament should be dry and of good quality
  • clean the plate and use adhesive Anti-Warping Spray for 3D Printers before a large print

🔧 The assembly should be easy to understand with the help of the illustration in the instructions. Check the print quality and clean the connecting parts if necessary. The moving parts of the tail should snap into place with a little twisting and turning. Due to the nature of PLA, I recommend careful assembly by hand, as otherwise the bone parts may break.

⚠️ The pelvis part with a movable tail was designed as a “nice to have” and should only be used by children aged 3 years and older due to the risk of suffocation.

Have fun printing and seeing the joy in your children's eyes.

Update - 22.08.25

I'm pleased to present version 2 of this beautiful model. I tested different materials and colors, and each one produced different results. That's why I made some changes to the T-Rex skeleton and uploaded an improved print profile.

Change log:

  • Improved fit of all parts for easier assembly
  • Adapter from tail to pelvic bone changed from outside to inside,
for easy replacement if it breaks
  • Model generally reinforced to prevent breakage
