The peg is not long enough to put enough segments for it to fan out into a semi-circle, plus there are no assembly instructions (that I could see).
I printed the fan segments plate twice, and the peg is long enough to fit all but 3 of the segments and still get the other end on. Then this only fans out to a maybe 110° angle. It would look better with the remaining 3 segments but still not a full 180°. I also think the pattern could have been embedded rather than just sat on top. Pretty though.
Here’s what I ended up doing: I sliced the peg off of the end segment model and elongated it to 3.6cm, printed this and another end segment with the hole in it, then I put the peg through all the segments and the two ends (both with holes), and melted the ends of the peg so they mushroom over the end segments.
Then I sewed it using the instructions from a voronoi hand fan also available in this bambu labs database.
It turned out okay
