The regular test chip for mono-color translucence testing is included here, but I'm uploading a new model entirely as I've added a multi-color blending test as well. These chips are designed to fit in to my LTD Test Box.
The blending test creates multiple cells, in total giving you ten different scenarios to observe how your materials will print when blended with different ratios. Since some materials will appear differently if they are the first layer or not, a few of the test patterns are repeated with the same blend of materials but in a different order to simulate the importance of which layer is on the outside.
The “top” row is 0.8mm thick and the “bottom” row is 0.6mm thick. I made this to test blending colors with whites, so I use C and W to indicate that below:
It really is impossible to photograph these things with a cell phone, but this gives you an idea.
If you make your own profile, make sure the model prints 100% solid (no infill).
