Description
The original is amazing, I rebuilt it in CAD in preparation to organize my own box of cables. There are a few tweaks that I think are nice:
- Bigger clearances
- The hinge won't stick or break as easily
- Different latching mechanism
- More positive engagement, easier to open
- The cavities in the core piece go all the way through
- Faster print
- No bridging
- Less material
- Easier to operate
- Built-in handle or hanger
- Larger, flatter design
- Larger bend radius = less damage to cables
- Parametric design
- Customize the cable diameter, bend radius, wall thickness, height, octagon vs hexagon, etc
I recommend disabling brims and supports for this model
As usual, post your make or feedback in the comments! I want to know if the parts fuse together or the latch is too tight or too loose

Printed it on my A1 Mini by resizing it to 92% and rotating it diagonally. printed without any problems and imperfections. like it more than the original and it really cleans up my desk.

Printed it with the default size. I think i will reprint it smaller because the default size its more suitable for cables 1.8m long and above.

Printed well but don't work for me. Maybe I do something wrong. If I hold one side of the cable it is OK.
