Description

This is an barely tested mockup, it seems to work fine but I haven’t run a full spool through it

Here’s a link to the motor. I used 8mm m3 screws.

I don’t intend to develop this motor adapter further, just wanted to share the relevant dimensions in an accessible way in case someone else in the community wants to pick it up

To keep with the spirit of the project I’d suggest keeping the cost and variety of non-printed components to a minimum to make the model accessible to as many people as possible.

M3 screws, M3 hex nuts, and 608 bearings are preferred

I printed your model, in PLA, and the gear don't fit to the motor... I will have to redesign it to be able to motorize my Pastamatic :(

I printed this to maybe remix it a bit for a different motor, but i did attach it to the spooler to see how it fit, without a motor - of course, and it's spot on. I think we need to get better bearing fasteners, they need to be secured better for things like this.
