This a simple lithium ion bracket for the Philips DCC 170/175 player and simular devices. It is a cheap and easy solution as the nimh batteries needed are more and more difficult to get.

You can fit the small pcb in the hole in the front of the print. Solder the wires to the pcb, glue the pcb to the back side and glue the cover on.
Use: Put the bracket in the player and place 18650 cell in it. Then put the normal battery cover on. If the cell is empty, remove it from the bracket and charge in a 18650 charger. The bracket can stay in the player.
