Inverted Brush Holder V2 - Smarter Storage, Longer Brushes

Version 2 is here, and it fixes the one thing that bugged everyone about V1. No more scaling headaches. Printable inserts now do the heavy lifting, giving you a precise fit for any brush diameter in your collection.

Why inverted?

Storing brushes tip-down lets moisture follow gravity away from the ferrule instead of pooling inside it. That's the difference between brushes that last years and brushes that fall apart after a few months. Your kolinsky deserves better.

What's new in V2:

🖌️ Printable inserts sized to your brushes. Measure your brush diameters, print the matching insert, done. No scaling, no guesswork.

🔒 Push-to-lock, push-to-release design. Inserts sit flush at the top and can be nudged down to lock in place. Push up from the bottom to pop them out.

🗂️ Center cavity for extra brushes, tools, or whatever else ends up on your painting desk

📐 Compatible with most mini and hobby painting brushes

Now Available: Ball Bearing Spinning Version

Because sometimes you just want to spin it. A new print profile adds a smooth rotating base using this bearing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PKD8QZZ?th=1

Assembly:

  1. The bearing post prints in two halves laid flat for strength. Glue them together first.
  2. Glue the post into the hole in the base and let it fully cure before moving on.
  3. Gently press the brush holder onto the base and column with the bearing attached. Easy does it, the column will snap if you force it.
  4. Spin away.
