Description

I like MihaiDesigns' idea and the P1P Armor Modplate. This is a remix of Bambu Lab AMS Stacking Stand with Armor Modplate style.

All gaps for assembly are intentionally very small. If it's difficult, please use a tool like a rubber mallet.

Updated on Jan. 7th, 2004

- The wall extension(Riser) is 20mm taller than the previous one, so the lower AMS top lid can fully open without the need to hold it.

- Also, you can add one more bracing when you use the wall extension for more rigidity.

Pins are separate parts because they need more strength, so at least 50% infill and 4 wall loops are recommended.

* If you want to push the lower AMS further back, please use Pin4 v2 & Pin4-Spacer instead of Pin3 v2.

* All pins are redesigned for better strength. Thanks for the great idea! @djwhouse Now, pins can be printed horizontally.

Pin1 v2(13mm) & Lock : for assembling bracing parts.
Pin2 v2(40mm) : for adding side wall extensions.
*Pin3 v2(20mm) : for joining bracing assembly and side walls.
*Pin4 v2(50mm) & *Pin4-Spacer : (Deeper) for joining bracing assembly and side walls.

This is an exceptionally well designed model that works exactly as intended. I used a mallet to connect the pieces to ensure they are rigid. Both AMS's fit perfectly and it works well with my AMS (newest version). I will also attempt to answer questions asked by others. Question: Can you fully open the AMS lid at the bottom level. Answer: Yes, Print the V4 connecting plugs only. Question Can this sit on top of the X1C Printer? Answer: Yes it will (just) fit however my advice would be to either add a small lip to the inner edge of the side walls sits between the glass lid of the printer and the outer wall. If enough people request it I will remix this design to include a base plate to prevent slippage or side lips. Summary: Printer: X1C AMS: Single filament only Filament: PLA+ Black Brand: eSun Slicer Plates: 3 Total Print Time: 12-13 Hours Standard Speed Filament Used: 906g Cost of Print: £11.46 Changes: None Supports: No Supports Type: N/A Supports Ease of Removal: N/A Recommendation: Yes 5*.

You know what would be awesome nd add a lot of support and stability would be add the hooks to the bottom of the legs to sit the bottom of the AMS and give more surface area along the edges.

Unfortunately, for me. the tolerance was too tight that even a rubber mallet won’t work without breaking the print. I am down an entire spool of filament so I will salvage what I can to make it work.

Same, but I just used a deburring tool to shave down the pins until they were snug.

I chucked the pins up in a drill and used a file to get them down to the point they were snug but not so much so they're putting force on the holes.

Looks great with the color accents I added. I had to create custom feet for my wire frame shelf it sits on. I like this design better than the original.
