The stand printed well, but the sony cable doesn't fit through the slot at all. Printed in Inland PLA

Thank you for your comment. Could you please tell me how many tenth of a millimeter you would add ideally? I use the original cable, and no problem on my side. Don't know if it is the same cable between US or European version.

This area on my cable measures between 6.32mm to 6.41mm, with thicker towards the connector. The other dimension seems to be similar.

to make pretty much any usb-c cable fit easily, I would make the opening at least 13.5mm wide and 8mm tall. But, that is not the only problem with the hole. In fact, your measurements would work for a bunch of cables I have including the one that came with the portal. The issue is that the hole or tunnel the cable goes through is on an incline and the tunnel is not a considtant height all the way through. When I insert the cable through the back, the front of the cable hits the ramp going up. through the front it hits the roof where it’s leveled out and it’s a tight fit. Hope this helps. Thanks again for the design. I absolutely love it.

I love this design. Took about 17 hours to print with 2 colors. It was just over 24 hours to make the PlayStation logo full original colors. The only issue I have with it is that I can’t fit any USB-C cables I have through the hole for it on the back. It’s not a big deal to just run the cable over the top for me, at least until I find one that fits. Thank you so much. I love it. (If only I could find a Steam Deck dock that matched this design)

Hello Lyphted, sorry to hear that you has some trouble with the cable. In France, the USB cable fits perfectly with this hole. It is a 5.7mmx12.7mm. In order to improve the model, I created a new version with an independant adaptator for the USB cable, available in several size. You can find it here: https://makerworld.com/models/211797

Great stand for the PlayStation Portal. I am unable to get the USB C cable to fit however.

Oh, looks strange because i added additional free space between the hole and the USB head, after testing it...

The USB C cable I’m trying to use is the one that came with the PlayStation Portal. It’s pretty close, but it doesn’t fit even if I try to force it. Do you happen to have another cable you recommend using?
