Description

Summary

Copy/Pasted from included README
I would download the v5 RAR and extract it but I've included the individual files as well.

Assembly is basically the same before

BASEPLATES

All baseplate files can use the G305 wheel but those with "G305_Scroll_Only" have a slightly more rigid scroll standoff. The FM wheel is fatter so it has less room. You'll probably want to print the ones without that tag, but if you know you will not be using an FM scroll then you can print the G305 only ones. Pick the size for the encoder you use. Most of you want the ones labelled 10mm Stock. Stock (10mm) is useable, but it's obvious that taller is better. You'll need to solder on a taller encoder to improve this aspect. Don't ask me for tips as I'm not experienced at all in this. I've only used the 10mm and 12mm variants, but the others should be just fine. Print the accordingly sized Scroll Support when you use the Finalmouse wheels and taller encoder baseplates so that you can scroll click and to prevent the wheels from sagging.

BATTERY HOLDERS
The battery holders are self-explanatory. You'll need to use tape with the Rechargeable one (https://imgur.com/a/vtCdnmR). I highly suggest putting it into place BEFORE you put the PCB onto the Baseplate. You'll also need to remove the mouse button connector to put it in place. Reason being I'm using this part in all of my mods now, and many lack the room for a nice enclosure due to the insides being cramped. Even though the Air58 is big, I had trouble with fitting in a fully printed enclosure that holds the AAA in the correct place because of a lack of room. I know it looks janky but it is what it is. If you want to see what I mean I made a quick YT video: https://youtu.be/vPNx4j_xXlk

SWITCHES AND HOLDERS
I cut the front off of mine. I believe it fits with them still on but they're annoying so I offed them. Cut all of the pins on the bottom off as well. https://i.imgur.com/DHdRdFb.jpg

HOLES
Holes save like 2g.
