Description

Print Base flat on the build plate

Slide in and bend slightly to get the notch in. Notch stops the slider from sliding out.

use double-sided tape to attach to the printer.

Wish the "peg" on the sliding mechanism was a bit higher. Slides out too easily

That's because you have it mounted upside down. See my original print and install

wasn't fixed down yet, the "proper" orientation in my case is even worse, the sliding mechanism slides out on the left with little to no effort

So i found the issue. The issue is with the slider and "v2 with additional clearances". When using the provided slider with v2 it's too loose and can very easily slide out (due to the peg issue mentioned above, it being too small due to the increased clearance). I printed both and the slider slides perfectly (and stays put) with v1. Meaning for those with v2 i'd suggest an additional slider with a higher peg to account for the extra clearance, but with v1 and the current slider there's no issue. My apologies for insisting there was. May i ask how you affixed it to the actual printer?

This print is awesome and prevents my cat from interfering with a print. I’ve printed with gray PETG and default settings. Some double sides tape to fix it in place and done. No more unscheduled cat interaction with the stop button!
