Description

BOM is the Same as the original, aside from the 8 magnets I used to hold the basket in place when rotating. (Fits my 18g ridgeless VST basket nicely)

I used blind holes on my design to give the upper part a cleaner look.

The use of a blind hole tap is advised to start ¾ of the thread length, otherwise the part may crack when screwing the M3 Screw in an undersized hole.

BOM:

  • 16x Magnets 5x2.5mm (2 stacked on top in each hole)
  • 1x M3x20mm SHCS
  • 5x M3x12 SHCS
  • 2x 61813 ZZ / 2Z (65x85x10 mm)
  • 10x MR63ZZ (3x6x2.5mm)
  • 10x Acupuncture needle

Printed most of the parts at one plate and worked great.

Excellent print. Bearings and magnets fit perfectly. I was skeptical on if this would make a noticeable difference in my espresso but I was pleasantly surprised. Made a big difference in shot quality. Had some issues with the knob on top - a little fragile in its attachment but this is a great project.
