Description

This may be specific to ASA, but I found the worm gear would skip as the teeth were not able to stay engaged at higher speeds. If you had this problem as well, this part may help. It's simply a 10% enlarged version. The inner hex is still the same size as the original so it will still fit on the axle the same way.

For printing, I've uploaded my profile but regardless of your settings, I recommend printing horizontally with brim. The brim takes a minute or so to cut off the gear with a knife (be careful) but it ends up with a more uniform model with higher strength and the gear coil acts like supports for the body of the model.

Please rate the profile if it works for you, if not let me know! So far the new gear has worked well for several respoolings.
