MechaZilla – Robo Kaiju Display Model

This is my take on a robotic kaiju – I call it MechaZilla. It’s a solid, non-articulated model made for display, painting, or just standing proudly on your desk like it owns the place.

I designed it with strong shapes, chunky armor plating, and a classic monster pose to give it that mix of retro and futuristic vibes. Whether you print it in metallic silk PLA or go wild with paint, this model really pops on the shelf.

Printing tips:

No tricky joints or moving parts – just one strong piece
Prints great on FDM printers (PLA, silk PLA works best for shine)
Use supports under the arms and jaw for best results
Scales up or down nicely, depending on your printer size

Perfect for fans of mechs, monsters, and cool-looking things in general.

@homedecor I have to say this is such a detailed and great print but I have a real issue as my print came off the plate at 59 minutes to go and my masterpiece has no head. I am very new to 3Dprinting and don’t know how to get Him in the right spot to print his head on the body. I know nothing about splicing etc. Can you tell me if I can fix this and what I can do. here is my headless Godzilla. I am in hopes I can fix him or let him die a horrible death.

unfortunately either the printer stop due to filament error i have no idea which printer you are using , but if you don't want to reprint it again measure the height and cut in the slicer the down part and print only the cut top part the measurement should be exact

thank you. I’m so new to 3 D that I don’t know how to splice or do any of that. I’m looking at a training video now, so hopefully I can just print the head to finish it off. it is a great print. I am using a Bambi A1 and it just popped off the plate. I put it back on but not knowing exactly how to place it back correctly, it was printing way off. I probably will reprint. I think the issue was the filament.

printed wonderfully with colourful tricolour silk pla. supports came off well. I used a set of flush cutters to help but tweezers would have worked. print is going into a prize basket for my wife’s classroom.
