Description
This spring jig was inspired by "Glock Mag Spring Jig" 0xdb1b I needed a 30 round version, and added start holes for 15, 17, and 20 round springs as well. This was a quick model so it may have some flaws but I find it to work well so far. Please let me know what can be improved.
To use, place the end of a piece of spring wire no bigger than 1.3mm into a start hole and then begin wrapping upwards towards the top. Pilars or a vice may make this easier, but I find it's easy enough to do by hand. Once fully wrapped cut the spring off the spool leaving about 30mm extra to fold over on the top (Makes the follower more stable) Then bend the spring into shape by hand.
After that you will need to anneal the springs for full functionality.
